2cyclekarts started out as a father and son racing team in 1994 when we bought an Invader kart from Jon Haun at the East Lansing Kart Track. After trying to share the same chassis for a year we decided we needed another kart and purchased another Invader in 1995. We ran ELKT and Palmyra speedway for a few years then we decided we would give the Manufactures cup a try in 1997, with decent results. Dad finished 4th in his class and I finished 11th in my class. From 1998-2001 we stayed local running ELKT winning several races and fighting for championships. In the fall of 2001 Jackson speedway was built changing the form of 2cyclekarts. Both dad and I have become very involved at Jackson speedway with myself being the race director and dad being the flagman, our racing was put on hold until now. We have plans of racing both Jackson speedway and ELKT in 2004 with a 5 kart team as my girlfriend's boys, Jake, Zach, and Kaelin have joined the team. Look for us at the track.
